Fundraising 101
Very often, organizations, teams, clubs, groups and schools have the need to raise funds to support an event or activity, usually; they need to do this a few times a year.
As a member of the community, Mio Posto Restaurant would like to join your cause and assist your efforts. With the confidence of
‘One Hand Washes the Other’ you can Create a business partnership with Mio Posto and utilize our facilities, expertise and our quality products with,
NO RISK or CASH OUTLAY.
In return Mio Posto Restaurant will receive expanded public awareness and the opportunity to impress, with our unique style and our excellent homemade food.

Gift Certificate Sales
Idea:
Members/ Students sell Mio Posto Gift Certificates valued at $20.00 each. 20% of the proceeds of all sales will be reimbursed back to the school/ organization.
Benefit:
· No cash outlay
· No perishable products
· A full 20% return
· Sell as many Gift Certificates as you can – no waste
· Each Certificate is valued at $20 even. Very little change to handle
· Purchaser get the full value of the Certificate
· Members/ Students just have to sell two Certificates each
· Can be done multiple times per year
Show me the money:
20% of $20.00 = $4.00 per certificate
Example of 1,120 student/ organization body
1,120 x $4.00 = $4,480.00
Now remember if each member/ student sells two certificates
Total for school = $8,960.00
Event Night
Idea:
Mio Posto will sponsor an Event Night at our facility in support of your cause. 20% of the proceeds of all sales will be reimbursed back to the school/ organization.
Benefit:
· No cash outlay
· No equipment rentals
· Easy as going out to dinner
· A full 20% return
· No tickets to sell
· Preset menu example: Pizza Night, Pasta Buffet, Spaghetti and Meatball Night.
· Can be done multiple times a year
Show me the money:
20% of a $12.00 per person Event Night Entrée = $2.40
Example of a 500 member/ student body
Each member/ student invites one person
500 x $2.40 = $1,200.00
Each member/ student invites two people
1,000 x $2.40 = $2,400.00
Vending
Idea:
Members/ Students hand out specially designed fundraising flyers advertising
Mio Posto’s Quick & Ready Spaghetti
The Quick & Ready Spaghetti is a bucket of spaghetti and homemade meatballs for $15.95. It is a generous portion of pasta, enough to feed four adults easily. The bucket is a take out, pick up only dinner item. 20% of the proceeds of all sales will be reimbursed back to the school/ organization.
Benefit:
· No cash outlay
· No money to manage
· Extremely easy to facilitate
· A full 20% return
· Everyone orders take out meals
· Can set your own expiration date on offer
· Can be done multiple times a year
Show me the money:
20% of $15.95 = $3.19
Example of 1,120 member/ student body
1,120 x $3.19 = $3,572.80
If everyone purchases two buckets during the offer
$7,145.60
Catering
Idea:
Cater a fundraising Dinner or Lunch Event
